Excellent stove
Great stove. Feels sturdy and safer cooking with pots or pans on this compared to cannister mounted stoves. Not as light as cannester mounted but worth the weight penalty for the safety, hi altitude and wind shield.
MSR Windpro II Stove
The WindPro camp stove is one of the most efficient and versatile stoves available. Because of its remote burner, you can safely use a windscreen around it without dangerously enclosing the fuel canister. This not only boosts stove efficiency, but also eliminates the environmental impacts and hassle of building rock windbreaks.
The remote burner offers better stability with large pots than any other canister-mounted stove, makes finding a place to set it up easy and allows you to swap out an empty canister without moving a hot pot. Hands-down, it’s one of the best all-around stoves on the market.
- Superior Efficiency: Compatible with windscreen (included) for top performance in all conditions.
- Versatile: Supports large cook pots (up to 9" maximum diameter) and can be used with bake ovens.
- Lightweight: Lightest remote canister stove on the market - weighs less than 7 oz. (200g).
- Compact: Small enough to fit in a one-liter pot.

Great service (arrived promptly). Well packaged and product works as advertised. This is a definite improvement on the gas cylinder mounted on top of the canister which can be unsafe and unstable when cooking outdoors. It also allows for safe windshielding which is cumbersome and also risky when the canister is close to the heat source
