Great little thing

Recently bought this because it seemed light the best lightweight version of solar showers. I took it on a 2 week rcok climbing trip in Australia just over the last 2 weeks and as we were camping, this seemed perfect. And it was. It is super light so hardly weighs in for backpacking or in our case air travel. The size of 10l really was nicely adequate for 2 people to have a shower. The material seems sturdy, I hung it up by the rings so far and didn't need to use the string it came with, would perhaps replace that with a sturdier prussick cord, but it would do the job as is. The only reason I am giving this 4 and not 5 starts ( I would give it 4.5 if that was an option) is that it requires a very solid amount of sun to get the water hot. I had a warehouse solar shower before and that water was stinking hot in much less time. We ended up throwing this one on the bonnet of the car, and this is Australian sun, so it was decent. Don't get me wrong, it DOES get hot, but if you get back from your activities late, the material seems to lose heat quickly and also requires a lot of exposure to heat up. I would prefer to add cold water to make it right rather than have a shower that's just not quite hot enough.

Again, in saying that, the water was never cold, the nozzle is fantastic, the flow is lovely (and there is no mucking around with kinks in hoses as happens with all the cheap ones). Would I buy it again? Absolutely.
