Marvellous, superbly made

Bought a pair size 41 over an impulse. La Sportiva has always been top range mountaineering shoes. If I were tackling the high Himalayan peaks I would want to see myself in at least a LS or one of the tested brands. These are made in China but make no mistake as they are purportedly designed and developed for the tasks. Simply approach shoes. Very comfortable but a bit tight on my broad feet. Colour wise they are a beauty to look at. Been walking in these for two weeks now, no blister at all. They seem to fit right in with my feet. The soles are quite solid, very firm rubber. Would eventually wear out unlike the silicon ones. I wear these with my underhill gaiters and they work just well treading in mud, light snow surfaces. Only thing is I could feel the chill so a comfy pair of socks would hopefully address this issue for me next time.
