Great Boots

Purchased these from Gearshop over the Christmas period, they arrived within 3 days. Impressed with the boot, very comfortable, no breaking in necessary. This is seems to be one of the only boots to still have a strong heel lock lacing hook, instead of the new flimsy lace D locks.

Awesome boot!!

Great boot I did a multi day hunt in some rugged backcountry up a creek and into tops and they preformed perfectly. Hopefully will last me a few years.

Best boots ever

I hunt most week nights and every weekend. Pig hunting consists of long walks. I had a stroke and it has effected my left side. I purchased gri sport boots and they were ok but not waterproof and not the best grip. My partner got himself some crispis and I checked them out at the field days but had just brought the gri sport ones so noted down the boot I liked and my size. I got over getting wet feet so I finally forked out some money to get these for winter. Absolutely no regrets!! Hand made with love. Sooo comfortable, definitely waterproof to an extent (no boot is!) and awesome grip. Has definitely helped my stroke foot and are so comfortable. Definitely recommend getting a boot dryer too! Will be buying another pair when these wear out.

20 Hours in

I purchased size euro 43 and there is a little more room than I would have liked, that’s kinda what you have to expect when buying online, you don’t get to try them on. This is the most I have forked out for a pair of boots so I do have big expectations. I have been out in a mixture of terrain: mud, scree and low mountains of NZ and they are performing well so far, good grip and my feet are 100% dry. Because they are a little bigger, when climbing steep hills I starting getting a bit of rub on the back of my left heel and if I had to go for too much longer I would have developed a blister, I will try doubling up on socks.

On the right hand boot, the crease that forms just above the toes kinda digs into the top of my foot but will see if that goes away after they have worn in.

The boot lace lengths are unusually unequal in length and makes me concerned that a detail like that would be missed after paying top dollar (for me anyway) and has left me wondering if they are equal size as I notice the manufacture two sizes of 43.
