Useful Introduction to Snowcraft

Quite a useful introduction to snowcraft, while balancing the content with supplementary information on product and approach. The book's discussion on ropework might have been a bit more expansive, so the discussion on glacier travel, but as those subjects are discussed in other books in the same series, and compared to what the book gets right, such are minor matters. Overall, useful guide for new mountaineers.
