    Game changer

I used the plate for the first time on a 53km hike. It proved an excellent purchase and made it very easy to take photos at will. Much better than any sling system I have tried. Very quick to release and with a little care not hard to put back.

I did have an issue where the camera plate came loose that made insertion and removal tricky. Unfortunately I had neglected to take the supplied Allen Key with me.

I never had any concern about dropping the camera while walking or clambering over obstacles.

    Worth every cent spent.

    Peak design camera clip

Great little product for accessing camera while hiking. Clips and unclips easily and feels secure.

Only issue with it is that the bolts provided are probably ok for a standard backpack, I use mine on an Osprey tramping pack and found the straps are too thick to do them up. Easily resolved by purchasing some longer bolts from Bunnings but given it's intended use longer bolts would be sensible.

    Well designed

The Peak Design Capture Camera Clip With Plate (V3) is small and light, easy to attach to my backpack strap, holds the camera securely. Just what I wanted. After doing some research to compare a few different brands, this seemed to be the most suitable for me and I am happy with it. I found the Peak Design instructional videos helpful while making my choice.

    PD Camera clip V3

Love the clip used it on my first big shoot over the weekend. Had it mounted on the shoulder strap on my back pack and really loved it with my camera and 35mm lens, used it a bit with my 80-200mm f2.8 lens and found that with the really heavy lens it would sometimes jam when pulling it out. But wasn't a major problem and was still way better than having the camera hanging off of my neck. Was by far the best set up I have ever had when using two cameras for a 10 hour shoot.
