Description

Seam sealing with Seam Grip SIL is the best way to keep moisture out when using a silnylon (silicone-nylon) tent. Previously known as SilNet, this clear sealant dries to a flexible rubber that works on all silicone treated gear including nylon tarps and ultralight backpacks. A single 1.5 oz tube can seal up to 24 ft of seams. Fast and easy to use, it’s also handy for pinhole repairs and small tears.

When you need to waterproof a silnylon tent only a silicone sealant will work, because silicone will only adhere to silicone. So, treat gear right and seal out the weather with Seam Grip SIL.

Self-leveling silicone-based seam sealer
Ideal for use on silicone treated products or silnylon fabrics
Washable and unaffected by extreme cold or heat
Ideal for ultralight tents, tarps, packs and garments
42g tube seals critical seams on most ultralight two person tents
3-6 hour cure time
Note: Seam Grip + SIL will not bond properly to non-silicone-treated fabrics
Made in USA

Great Sil sealant (runs well into seams)

Great Silicone sealant. Applied easily with a tiny syringe, then smeared in with my finger. Free flowing into seams. Dries clear. Slightly grippy like normal silicone sealant, but not sticky. Only used 1/2 a tube to seal a 2 man Lanshan Pro 2, so it goes a long way.
