Join us for the first of our Gearshop Sessions events - an evening of practical advice, expert knowledge, and gear demonstrations - with specialists from some of our favourite brands, plus food tastings, spot prizes and discounts!

Each talk is limited to 20 people, so RSVP below to reserve your place. You can register for one or two sessions, or stay for the whole evening.
5.15pm–5.45pm | Rab: Understanding Insulation
With Federico (surname?) from Rab
What’s the difference between down and synthetic insulation - and why should you choose one over the other? Federico will also introduce the new family of Rab Microlight jackets and may discuss sleeping bags if time allows.
6.00pm–6.20pm | Nikwax & Ledlenser: Look After Your Gear
With Neil (surname?) from ??
Good outdoor gear is an investment and looking after it properly can make a significant difference to its performance and lifespan. Neil will share practical advice on gear care with Nikwax, before discussing what to consider when choosing a light from Ledlenser.
6.45pm–7.15pm | Osprey: Finding and Fitting the Right Pack
With Kevin (surname?) from Osprey
A good pack should feel like it belongs on your back. Kevin will cover everything from choosing the right type and size of pack to getting the fit right. Learn what to look for, how a pack should sit, how to adjust it correctly, and which features and accessories can make a difference.
Real Meals with Nathan Fa’avae
We’ll also have adventure racer Nathan Fa’avae with us throughout the evening, making his Real Meals on MSR cookers. Nathan is a brand ambassador for both Rab and MSR, so there’ll be an opportunity to chat with him about his adventures with the gear in pretty demanding environments.
