Really good anti shock poles

Very effective on volcanic scree, uneven stairs and rugged rocky trails. Used over 4 day hike, fab for upward propulsion and downward stability. Even shared one with a friend when they tired and still had loads of benefit with just 1. I normally have fairly sore knees at the end of a hike but not this time!

Buy online!

Poles seem great for traveling over rough terrain. But found out that I would have saved $20 by buying online. 😖

Excellent value poles

Bought these to protect my aging knees on the Routeburn and am very happy. The anti-shock adds a bit of weight but did seem quite comfortable even after 6 hours. The poles are easy to extend and make the same height. They were a little longer than I expected when collapsed but still (just fitted) diagonally in my suitcase. Price was great, with 50% off it compared very favorably value wise to the other poles my friends had bought.

trekking poles

The poles are sturdy and do the job. I find the grip handle not defined enough for my hand and the wrist straps are flimsy. I bought in a hurry after my others broke so would probably look for different ones in the future
